   Hello I am Andre'Nae . I will use my 

blog to show others how I am progressing in my work 

and what i am struggling in. I will show how my game

 is coming along and if there are  any problems others 

can share what they like. I will explain what i am doing 

and try to upload codes , but yeah that is how i can 

probably explain things. =) 

Choosing Game Topic

            The reason I choose Child Abuse as a topic is because I think it's very wrong to hurt little kids no madder how old they are. I hate to hear or see anything that has to do with abuse on innocent. I would like to see a humongous change on how people ( Adults) treat the future of our economy and world (in a way). This topic means a lot to me because I love to see little kids laugh and be happy. I do not like it when kids cry, it makes me sad. So that is why I choose Child Abuse as my game topic.

            Well I really didn't have to ask my partner if it should be child abuse we pick. She basically already had picked the same topic. So it's okay but my other partner she just came in. Technically new to the team.

   I think it's good to help kids who have been ( or who are) abused, by parents, foster parents, or even older siblings. Even if it is by someone they don't know, either way it's wrong. That's why I picked this website.

  My ideas for a game dedicated to this website would be..... 

 Right now i'm not sure, I'm thinking a character that runs around. they'er late for school and are taking a short cut. But then they run into a man who is abusing his daughter. the character avoids the man and saves the girl by taking her and running. then the character runs to the police station and reports the man using his daughter as evidence. Then in the next level the character is at home and sees his father beat his little brother for no reason. the character has no way to get a phone so the character goes to find help. he has to stop and ask 3 people before finally finding someone to help the character save his little brother.

       Yeah but that's pretty much it. that was made up fast. Really i'm not sure what would be a easy way to make my 'story' into a game, but we'll see.

Synchronized Saviors: It's a really cool game. i think for a wiki game it is very advanced. the button use is very good. i really like the game (also) because it has a bunch of levels. It's a really awesome game. the credits where really nice.
The Adventures of Henry The Hedgehog : i think the hedhog was adorable. ut the game was very hard for me to beat educational, yeah some what it was okay.sorry only passed the first level i knd of got mad because i cannot pass the second level but the fact that you can pick you place to go out of two on the second level is clever.

 

 

The Big Idea: Describe your learning topic for the game. What is the most important thing you want your players to learn?  i want the players to learn about scienc (words)

Research: What kind of research did you do? What did you learn about your topic? wel actually i learned it in class and thought it would be cool to make a game on spmthing i was learning about

Making Decisions: How did your ideas change as you worked on your game? well i was thikng about drawing pitures but i didn't know how to draw potons, uetrons, nd electrons, so just wrote down the names and hid them.

Mastering Programming: What Game Ingredients and Help Center resources have been most useful to you so far, and why?  then ones that make the words disapear when you click them.\the stop watch was no help really. i couldn't really get it to work. so that didn't really help.

Overcoming Challenges: Which part of making the game was most difficult for you? How did you overcome this difficulty? What features are you most proud of in your game? well really my big obsticle still hags around. i can not seem to make the  stop watch work.

paper prototype

  my paper prototype is basicly atoms and so i thought that would be alright. I fond it hard to pick just one picture to do for my paper prototype.yeah but i picked one. it may not look pretty when drawn but on flash i will make it look better no worries =)
