Add First Person Player....

How might you design a game for first person view differently from 3rd person view (a 3D game where you can see your player character)?


I'm not very sure, I did my game where you could have it either way. I'm not quite sure how it 

would differ but I guess if I had to choose I would have the character talking to people and 

asking for help. I'm not trying to be confusing but I think I would have the player control with the 

keys and choose what the wear, just to make sure what they are choosing what to wear 

carefully. To tell the truth I am not really sure what I would add or change. So yeah I guess just 

everything about my character I guess.

• What challenges did you face creating your 3d scene?  
• How do you feel about your design now that you built it into a 3d world?

  

           I had lost my work and was left lost for a while, I had 

had many headaches trying to open Unity and trying to 

make something in Unity.But I found my way around it all.

 I feel very happy at how I can lose my work and be able to 

do it again, though it might not look exactly the same, it still 

looks really good. I'm proud of what I have accomplished. 

  

Sculpt Terrain, 3D Unity............

 what is was like to sculpt a terrain in Unity 3D? 


  Well for me it's still new and there is a lot to still learn. I think making the terrain wasn't as hard as my mind made it out to be, I mean there was a lot to do but also it wasn't that difficult. There was points when I was confused as to how to do somethings but I got good help. I still am a bit worked up on making volcanos so that I will work on. It can get boring but some days it's like 'yay I did it!' so yeah it has it's ways in making me lost and entertained at the same time. Funny enough I understand it better then Flash.

Intro To Unity......

• How was creating a 3d object different or similar to what you were expecting?
• What other things do you hope to do using Unity?

     It was different because I'm used to Flash. Flash you draw your own picture and the visual of it all is not as cool as in Unity. In unity the visual is more clear and live. You have a normal picture drawn and then you got computer awesome. It pops out more. I hope I could learn to make a music video. That would be cool.

Choose a topic......

     It was hard to choose a topic between still-borns and teen pregnancy, but I had to choose and I choose teen pregnancy. It seemed much easier to make a game of and it really is a problem that is needed to be taught to young students (as like me) that have-you know what- before marriage or while you are still in high school can cause lots of problems for your education in the long run. You might think it is so awesome to have a child ,and I'm not saying it isn't, but if you are still in school then life will be taught. Some people don't plan it all out and it is really dumb because it's painful to give birth and then instead of feeding one mouth for the time being you are feeding for two. Also when you have the baby that means extra money is spent, you have to find someone to care for them during the day, and also you have a hard time sleeping because they wake up mid-night. If you choose to get a abortion then what are you doing, you are killing a life form. Instead of facing your mistakes you  are killing them a choosing to ignore the fact that you choose to do something you could have waited to do. It will be hard. So all this really is a important matter, yet not many people see it that way, teens who are still trying to figure themselves out are carrying around babies and taking responsibility even though they can barely care for themselves. So yeah =)

 What kind of ideas did you get for your own game? 

What differences did you see between the 3D and 2D 

versions of Malaria Prevention?

     The Ideas I got for my own game is it could be like the

 character can be running away from the terrible hold of 

their terrible home and then running into a better one. 

The diffrence between the 3D and the 2D is the 2D 

wasn't as detailed as  the 3D one. The 2D is a great one 

to play yet the 3D is better. Being as unexperienced as I 

with games I'm not very well with these. But the games 

where both good yet i like 3D better. It was as if YOU 

the character.

Course Overview......

    What i'm excited to work on......? Hmm... Well I guess it would have to be trying to make a better game this year, well that is if i can, but i have enough confidence to do me well so it shouldn't be too hard. I'm really hoping my game will be really cool. It would be nice to play a game I made that works so well.  I think it would be a challenge but i can try to do it well, It shouldn't be a huge hassle. Yeah so that is pretty much all. =D

Diffrent Ways To Find Help In Globaloria.............

How might your classmates or friends help you with your 

projects? How will you help your classmates with their 

projects?

      The way my classmates or friends help me is by explaining things to me that i might have missed or don't understand. Help me find codes for a game or questions to a blog. The way i can help classmates with their projects can be the same way. If they are having a hard time not being able to understand and i understand then i can explain it much better for them.

Choosing Game Topic

            The reason I choose Child Abuse as a topic is because I think it's very wrong to hurt little kids no madder how old they are. I hate to hear or see anything that has to do with abuse on innocent. I would like to see a humongous change on how people ( Adults) treat the future of our economy and world (in a way). This topic means a lot to me because I love to see little kids laugh and be happy. I do not like it when kids cry, it makes me sad. So that is why I choose Child Abuse as my game topic.

            Well I really didn't have to ask my partner if it should be child abuse we pick. She basically already had picked the same topic. So it's okay but my other partner she just came in. Technically new to the team.

   I think it's good to help kids who have been ( or who are) abused, by parents, foster parents, or even older siblings. Even if it is by someone they don't know, either way it's wrong. That's why I picked this website.

  My ideas for a game dedicated to this website would be..... 

 Right now i'm not sure, I'm thinking a character that runs around. they'er late for school and are taking a short cut. But then they run into a man who is abusing his daughter. the character avoids the man and saves the girl by taking her and running. then the character runs to the police station and reports the man using his daughter as evidence. Then in the next level the character is at home and sees his father beat his little brother for no reason. the character has no way to get a phone so the character goes to find help. he has to stop and ask 3 people before finally finding someone to help the character save his little brother.

       Yeah but that's pretty much it. that was made up fast. Really i'm not sure what would be a easy way to make my 'story' into a game, but we'll see.
